Challenge

Wahoo, a leader in the connected bike technology industry, wanted to further develop the running and general fitness segments of consumers and launch a new app to support the TICKR heart rate monitor.

Approach

Performed in-depth qualitative and quantitative consumer research to understand the needs of these consumers and their attitudes and interest in heart rate monitoring. Drove product roadmap, features, planning, and positioning of new products, including a new application with heart rate training from a renowned expert.

Result

Launched RunFit application and set product roadmap for future hardware and software enhancements. Exceeded 1500 downloads on the first day and continued to add over 100 downloads per day over the first month.
