Startup Product Naming

Challenge

A startup developing a wearable breast pump needed a new name that was short, memorable, and could pivot to products other than just an in-bra wearable pump. 

Approach

Combined brainstorming with trademark, URL, and social media research to create a new name and obtain a short URL that would be ownable, memorable, appropriate, and flexible for a spectrum of mother/baby products.

Result

Lybbie.com was purchased and the company transitioned to the new brand name. Five years later, the brand name is still in use even though the company has pivoted their product offering several times.
